It doesn't get any better than Summer in our area. One needs more hours in the day to cover all the fun "Things to do" every day. Friday, July 4th is an action packed day on the Square with a Pancake Breakfast served by the Rotary with music, food, awards and entertainment all day (Parade starts at 11:30) in conjunction with the "Centennial 100" committee who are also staffing the Centennial Exhibition next to the Post Office. You may want to stop by at Eagle Forks Vineyard for entertainment, food and free wine tasting from 12 to 6 pm. At night you have a choice of fireworks. Our own "Hayesville" Fireworks behind the square across from the library and also the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds or the Brasstown Valley Resort and they start after dusk at about 9 to 9:45 pm.
